Gemini for Science follows more of the research process

Google announced scientific tools and experiments connected to Gemini, including research skills for Antigravity and Google Labs tools drawing on several company projects. The intention is to support stages of research beyond writing prose.

Context

A useful environment preserves the connection between a question, its data, and the conclusion. Search and computation can be automated more confidently when the researcher can reconstruct what happened. Without that trail, a polished report may be convenient, but it is harder to assess or reproduce.
